Julie A. Newhouse
Ms. Julie Newhouse attended Indiana University – Bloomington graduating
in 1982. She worked for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office until she
began law school at Valparaiso University School of Law in 1984. During law
school she was employed as a summer law clerk with the Office of the Indiana
Attorney General and worked for her father, John N. Hughes, at Hughes and Young.
After graduating law school, Ms. Newhouse practiced law at Worth Law Office
in Rushville until beginning the firm Newhouse and Newhouse with her husband
in 1988.
Ms.
Newhouse is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity; is a Fellow and Board
member of the Indiana Bar Foundation; and is a member of the Indiana State Bar
and American Bar Associations. She is also the past Director of the Rush County
Historical Society, the Regent of the Rushville Chapter DAR, the State History
Chairman for Indiana State DAR and is a member of Psi Iota Sorority.
