Robert C. Beasley

Mr. Beasley currently serves as General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs for Paws, Inc. in Muncie. He is responsible for the direction and management of the worldwide legal affairs for the comic character “Garfield”. Prior to joining Paws, Mr. Beasley served as Executive Vice President for Beebe Title Company, Inc. as well as maintaining a limited private practice representing commercial clients, including Jim Davis and Paws, Inc. He has also been a partner with the firm Beasley Gilkison Retherford Buckles and Clark concentrating on business/corporate agreements and litigation. He is a former law clerk to the Honorable Jonathon J. Robertson, Judge, Indiana Court of Appeals. Mr. Beasley graduated from Wabash College, cum laude, and the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, magna cum laude. He is a current member of Indiana and Muncie Bar Associations and has served as secretary to the Board of Governors of the Indiana State Bar Association; member of the board of directors of ICLEF; chair of ICLEF’s Strategic Planning Committee; past chair of ISBA’s Client Financial Assistance Fund Committee; a member of ISBA nominations committee; and as program chair for ICLEF’s "Year in Review" seminar. |
Mr. Beasley also participates in his local community and currently serves as a member of the board of directors at Youth Opportunity Center in Muncie; member of the board of directors of the YMCA of Northwest Muncie. He has previously served as president of the board of United Way of Delaware County, the Muncie Redevelopment Commission, the Muncie Jaycees, the advisory board of NBD Bank, Muncie, Muncie Visitors Bureau, Muncie Rotary Club, Delaware County Easter Seal Society, Isanogel Center and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of East Central Indiana. |
