Charles R. Dunlap

Chuck is responsible for administering all of the business, activities, and programs of the Foundation including all fund-raising activities. Chuck received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis and his Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.  Prior to joining the Indiana Bar Foundation, Chuck was Assistant Director of Planned Giving at the Indiana University Foundation and also previously practiced law with the law firm of DeFur, Voran, Hanley, Radcliff & Reed in Muncie, Indiana.

 

 

Executive Director, Indiana Pro Bono Commission

Monica Fennell

Monica is the Executive Director of the Indiana Pro Bono Commission.  She dedicates herself to overseeing and improving pro bono legal services in Indiana. Monica was a Supreme Court Fellow and winner of the Justice Thomas Clark Award for excellence presented by Chief Justice John Roberts, Jr.  She spent several years as a litigation associate at firms in Milwaukee and Chicago. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from Williams College and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

 

Director of Civic Education & We the People State Coordinator

Erin Braun

Erin is responsible for directing the Foundation's citizenship education outreach programs. This includes working with the State Coordinators for both We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution, and We the People: Project Citizen. Erin received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Evansville in Political Science and Psychology. Before joining the Bar Foundation, Erin was the Indiana State Bar Association's Law-Related Education Coordinator, a United States Marine, and a graduate of the We the People program.

 

Director of Development & Communications

Kelly Valentine

Kelly is responsible for representing the foundation with the Executive Director and Board to the public and profession. Kelly received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Franklin College and a Masters in Business Administration from Anderson University.  Before joining the Indiana Bar Foundation, Kelly assisted in fundraising and events for Hudson Institute.

Kyle Burson

Kyle is the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution Program Coordinator. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University-Bloomington in Studio Art. Before joining the Indiana Bar Foundation, Kyle was the Outreach Coordinator for the Tri-State Alliance, a United States
Marine, and a graduate of the We the People program.

Project Citizen Program Coordinator

Eric Steele

Eric is responsible for working with the Project Citizen program and its administration throughout the state of Indiana. Eric received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Franklin College. Before joining the Indiana Bar Foundation, Eric worked with the City of Franklin Department of
Planning and Economic Development.

Comptroller

Michael Tranovich

Michael is responsible for coordinating the IOLTA program and assisting in Foundation activities including maintenance of its financial records.  Michael has a Master’s degree from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.

 

 

Media Relations Coordinator

Taylor K. Turkot

Taylor is responsible for the media, marketing and public relations efforts of the Indiana Bar Foundation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Butler University.

 

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Michelle Gill

Michelle is responsible for the receptionist and administrative duties within the Foundation and Pro Bono Commission. Before joining the Foundation, Michelle worked for Decision One Mortgage as an Account Manager.
