Stewardship has ancient roots, spanning many centuries with ties to many cultures and traditions. Broadly conceived, stewardship means care and responsibility; we have a responsibility to the proper care of the resources we receive. We are mindful of the necessity to forge ahead with stronger pro bono programs and stronger civic education programs to create a stronger community.
As stakeholders in the Foundation’s programs, you intimately share the responsibilities and care for a more just and civically literate citizenry. Let stewardship never depart from an understanding of who we are.
